Weston-Davis News Christmas Message inspires new song. Last week, Billy received a devotional message from Rex Holt that really touched him. On Christmas Eve, 1980’s, an African pastor in Togo stood before the Holts and proclaimed, “I am glad that Jesus was born in a barn, on a pile of hay, between oxen and sheep, to peasant parents. If he had come to a king's palace I could not get to him. He would be too big, too powerful for this African village boy to reach. But he came as a baby in a manger in a stable. I can identify with that kind of Savior. I can relate to that kind of God". Well, you probably guessed… a new song for Christmas was born, He Came As A Man was recorded at home by several of the Davis family. Merry Christmas! Vocalist regains lost voice; duo sings again.
